The SkyScout Connect interface allows you to simply point the SkyScout at a sky object, press a button and your telescope moves to point at the object. It's great for beginners like me who don't know the names of all the stars they see on a clear night.
The only obstacle is that you have to furnish your own USB cable and mine was a bit short. So I had to be careful not to pull the cable out in my enthusiasm to find the next sky object. Also the holder for the unit might be better designed. Any time there was a tug on the cable, the unit fell out of the holder.
