The Swann SW244-8MP is a perfect choice for commercial applications looking for dependable multi-camera security monitoring and recording at an affordable price. This system comes complete with an 8-channel 250GB DVR, 8 cameras and all the necessary cables, mounting hardware and power supplies. With this system in place, an operator will be able to simultaneously record images from all eight cameras as well as view them all at once on a single TV or video monitor. Furthermore, because of its network connection, users will also be able to access the DVR from a remote Internet location to view cameras and stored images.
All eight cameras are weather resistant and can be installed indoors or outdoors. Cameras are also IR enabled and will provide visible images even in the dark.
Digital Video Recorder
- H.264 Compression
- Video is captured using the H.264 level video compression method, also known as MPEG-4 Part 10. With its ability to generate great looking video images while keeping file sizes to a minimum, H.264 is supremely well suited as a compression medium for CCTV DVRs.
- Motion Detection
- An advanced motion detection function, based on area and sensitivity, can be applied to each camera input. When used to trigger recording, motion detection greatly cuts down on storage and network requirements and also makes it easy to locate event material.
- Easy Storage Expansion
- Storage capacity is easily expandable by adding two more drives, supplementing the 250GB drive already installed in the DVR.
- Optional Mouse Control
- Users have the option of connecting a USB mouse to this DVR to navigate DVR functions.
