This is my first light stand. I've used it only with a speedlite and umbrella, but everything has worked great so far.

Comments about Manfrotto 367B Basic Light Stand - 9' (2.7m):
I use this product for various lights when videotaping interviews. It's lightweight and easy to carry, with good legs that can easily be weighted down with sandbags when required. I usually shoot in standard rooms, so the 9 foot height is sufficient. I believe there is a different stackable model if you will be carrying or storing multiple stands.

It's a light stand that works as advertised and says "Manfrotto" on it.... What else needs to be said???

Comments about Manfrotto 367B Basic Light Stand - 9' (2.7m):
I use this product for video production with small lights with and without an extending arm depending on the fixture. The stand is light to carry but steady -- particularly if using sandbags when necessary. It's my second stand of this type, and the first is still going strong. Only con I've found so far is that the first few times out of the box it's a little balky when extending the legs.

Comments about Manfrotto 367B Basic Light Stand - 9' (2.7m):
Can't ask for more considering the price. Sturdy, lightweight and works as well as more expensive stands I've bought. I use it with speedlights only. Wish it came with a carrier. But for the price I can't expect that.

Comments about Manfrotto 367B Basic Light Stand - 9' (2.7m):
I am kinda stuck on Bogen/Manfrotto light stands and tripods. But I am also cheap. I had looked at numerous light stands before commiting to the 367B. Cheap, generic light stands are just that, and even for the price I couldn do it. The 367B is Manfrotto quality at an affordable price. It is just right for my needs and I use it with speedlights and monolights.
I thought it was going to be more like my 3086 Manfrotto, and all aluminum. But the 367B has plastic parts--like the colors at each extension pole and the part that holds all three legs together. Slightly bummed, but not a deal breaker. I suspect Manfrotto made sure the stand was plenty strong. I certainly haven't had an problems.
I say buy, I would buy them again and I may just buy more.

I use this item with my off camera flashes and it gets the job done effortlessly. Great build quality at a very affordable price. Sure there are less priced items out there, but you get what you pay for and Manfrotto is known for top quality equipment.

perfect for holding off shoe flash whether indoors or outdoors. I've been using impact, but this one definitely is more sturdy, lighter, and looks cool.

Comments about Manfrotto 367B Basic Light Stand - 9' (2.7m):
I've used it several times indoors, and I found it to be surprisingly sturdy. Clearly it's not a tripod, but it woks well. The 9' height is a plus. You always have the option of lowering it. It's a bit heavy, but i think that's the trade off for being sturdy.

Comments about Manfrotto 367B Basic Light Stand - 9' (2.7m):
I use SB-800's and 900's for head shots, portraits and the like, packing them to a client's site about half the time. I've used the Manfrotto 3373's (now discontinued) in the past, but had found them somewhat more "flimsy" than I liked.
These are a bit larger (slightly longer than the 3373's when folded for transport or storage), but much sturdier without being heavier. Very solid and I've now ordered others to replace rather than augment my 3373's.

I do studio/portrait work and pet photography. This stand is very sturdy and I love the height of it! It is perfect, but then again you expect that with Manfrotto! I have several of their products...can't go wrong!

I use these as all-purpose stands for lights, reflectors, anything else. I bought two and then I bought two more. The main thing I like is that they are so lightweight - easy to carry around, but have sandbags available.

Comments about Manfrotto 367B Basic Light Stand - 9' (2.7m):
Solid and stable for the price. Better than similar stands I've tried in this price range. Plenty strong for speedlight plus EzyBox or Softlighter.
NOT air-cushioned, which I prefer.
Only gripe is that the slider for the legs is a bit sticky/tricky.
