Canon's exclusive 41x Advanced Zoom provides you with close-ups that, like the camera's already 37x optical zoom, are exceptionally clear with no loss in video quality. Another feature, unique to Canon, Widescreen HR Recording, captures every shot in full 16:9 video, the same way you see it on the 2.7" LCD display.

This camcorder also features a 1/6" CCD image sensor, a Quick Start function for fast recording start-up, Dolby Digital audio and DIGIC DVII for improved color and tone in your images. And, if you're among those of us who are constantly misplacing the lens cap, the built-in lens cover has your back. The DC-310 is affordable and easy-to-use for capturing all of life's moments.

Record video and stills directly to DVD for playback in any standard definition DVD player after finalization. Sharing the moment with friends and family has never been faster. DVD-R/-RW discs can hold up to 30 minutes of SD video and 60 minutes in LP mode. DVD-R DL discs can store up to 108 minutes of video. The Visual Index on the DC-310 allows for fast look up of scenes when you're ready to playback your footage. You can also create a play list of shots in-camera for playback on the LCD or later in your DVD player.

Canon's 41x Advanced Zoom extends the power of the 37x optical zoom for the longest zoom available from the company. What's even better is that there is no loss of image quality, leaving you with clear, accurate video and stills in every shot.
