The Aspire 8920-6048 Notebook Computer from Acer is a great laptop for the mobile professional or student. The notebook will let you take your computing on the road, delivering powerful performance and giving you the ability to easily import digital media.

The system is powered by a 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550 CPU and boasts 3GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a Blu-ray ROM drive that also burns DVDs, Bluetooth, wireless Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, and an 18.4" widescreen display powered by nVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS graphics. Windows Vista Home Premium is the platform that ties all this hardware and software together, giving you a great portable computer for the digital savvy family, backed by the Acer name.

• Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550: The Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550 CPU is based on an architecture designed specifically for mobile computing; this processor delivers a balanced level of mobile processor technology and exceptional value in this lighter, easier-to-carry notebook PC. The dual-core technology delivers two execution cores in one CPU, giving you better performance than a comparable single-core processor.

• Windows Vista Home Premium: The computer comes preloaded with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system from Microsoft. Vista includes the slick Aero user interface, complete with the Windows Sidebar, gadget support, Flip3D navigation and more. The Home Premium edition of Vista includes the popular Windows Media Center application.
