A previous reviewer mentioned that this case was harder than he/she expected, so I bought it expecting this. It is made out of a memory foam, rather than the neoprene that another brand uses. The memory foam is more dense, but I think it should do the job. I do like the design and color. It fits my 13" MacBook Pro perfectly.
