Comments about Panasonic AW-HE100 Multiformat Pan-Tilt Integrated Camera:
I use this during multi-cam shoots.
The pan and tilt is smooth and quiet.
Camera is bigger than other 3 CCD/CMOS PTZ's.
I'm only using the analog composite for now, I will be odering the SDI card soon, then I'll be able to fully judge the quality of the picture.

Comments about Panasonic AW-HE100 Multiformat Pan-Tilt Integrated Camera:
These cameras do have an algorithm that "slows the movement" of the camera near the end of a move, so you can take the shot even if the shot isn't perfectly framed yet- in a meeting where several different people talk, it helps to smooth out the show. The feature can also be turned off, if you don't like the "slow and jerky zoom."

Comments about Panasonic AW-HE100 Multiformat Pan-Tilt Integrated Camera:
Just got five of these to replace an older robotic system. The difference in quality and functionality is night and day compared to the old system. We use these cameras with the Panasonic AW-RP655 controller in a broadcast environment. These cameras are pretty large, but whisper quiet. We did have a lens problem with one camera that caused back focus issues, however the issue resolved itself.

Comments about Panasonic AW-HE100 Multiformat Pan-Tilt Integrated Camera:
We are using 4 of these twice a day in a live broadcast scenario. Using the Panasonic controller, we do on air camera moves using presets. The zoom on the camera when using the presets is unacceptable. It slows down long before hitting its mark and then performs a slow and jerky zoom to the end point. If you are not doing on air moves, then this camera is great for the price and a nice picture.

Comments about Panasonic AW-HE100 Multiformat Pan-Tilt Integrated Camera:
Better than expected-flawless design and functional software built in.
This camera is used for church remote overflow in HD 1080i & p.
Easy operation, great settings and sleek design make it a perfect fit for unobtrusive broadcast grade production and IMAG. Not cheap but worth the price. I rarely find equipment in this category that could not use many upgrades but this piece is expertly produced and delivers beautiful video.
