The HeadAmp6PRO from ART Pro Audio is a 6-channel stereo headphone amplifier designed for installed applications. The amp includes front and rear output jacks via 1/4" TRS connectors for flexible connectivity. Input is via XLR and 1/4" TRS jacks, with matching Thru jacks for bridging multiple amps. A front-panel 1/4" jack allows quick patch override of the rear inputs.
The amp also include a 6-channel Aux input section, which can be used to provide the often-requested "more me" function on a headphone mix. Each output channel features individual bass and treble controls, as well as a dual-function balance control, which can pan between the left and right sides of the main signal, or vary the mix between the main and Aux inputs for that channel.
Front-panel Mono select buttons on each channel allow you to switch between 4 different operating modes; Stereo, Mono Left, Mono Right, and Mono Both for versatile monitoring options. An 8-segment LED level meter provides visual feedback of the signal level on all channels and the main signal bus.

Comments about ART HeadAmp6PRO Rack-Mount 6-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier:
I use the HeadAmp6PRO to listen to high end headphones, like AKG K-702, Beyerdynamic DT-990, and
Sennheiser HD595. I also have a discrete class A headphone amp, but two of the above headphones need more bass, in my opinion. The bass/treble control is great - very low noise - can play the 702's very loud and they are not easy to power. Highly Recommended for this purpose, or Pro Audio.

Comments about ART HeadAmp6PRO Rack-Mount 6-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier:
Great value - a lot of funtion for little money. I've purchased 2 of these units now for various projects and they work well. I had some problem with a unit but the manufacturers took care of the issue. Overall, it does the job well and saves a lot of headaches - and a few bucks...

Comments about ART HeadAmp6PRO Rack-Mount 6-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier:
I already had one HeadAmp6 unit for my studio headphones. I've added 3 more units (total of 24 headsets) for 8 individual aux sends for personal monitoring.
We use these to power "wired" headsets for a speaker-free stage monitoring system. Functions like the Aviom systems at a significantly lower investment.
The HeadAmp6 is clean with options to cascade units, add "more me" inputs for each output, and LED level displays. Comparable to other manufacturer headphone amp solutions, the Art HeadAmp6 is sturdy, quality built pro-audio stage & studio equipment.

Comments about ART HeadAmp6PRO Rack-Mount 6-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier:
I bought this to replace an aging and worn out Behringer H4700. I hate Behringer products with a passion and would normally avoid anything they make, but the 4700 really did deliver. The sound was a bit brittle and the slight 60hz hum was annoying but it served me well for 5 years. When it finally died, I wanted something to replace it and the ART HeadAmpPro6 was the perfect solution. It has all the functionality of the Behringer, plus 2 additional headphone amps and better build quality...so it seems. At [$], I was happy to pay a few more dollars for something non-Behringer. My only complaint would be that the aux inputs are on the back side. That means, I either need to wire those rear inputs to points on my patchbay, or crawl around back of the rack to plug in the the necessary patches. I also dislike the bright Blue LEDs on each channel, but that's a minor issue.
