DiCAPac WP-D10 Waterproof Case
The DiCAPac WP-D10 Waterproof Case will protect your small camcorder when you are using it at the beach, swimming, kayaking, skiing, fishing, sailing, snorkeling or diving. This is a PVC vinyl housing with a polycarbonate lens. It can be used with cameras that have a fold-out LCD monitor since since there is a pocket to accommodate the screen. The housing meets JIBS PIX requirements for underwater usage.
The case is compatible with cameras that have a length of 4.7" (112mm) or smaller, and a circumference no larger then 9" (228.MM). This does not include the fold-out LCD monitor. The housing provides a pocket for the monitor.

I purchased this product because I needed some sort of inexpensive waterproof bag for a small video camera shooting under shallow water.
For those purposes, the bag worked very well.
Pros: inexpensive (much cheaper than next cheapest option), works well, clear lens panel.
Cons: only properly fits a certain type of video camera (as listed in the product description), I would have given 4 or 5 stars had this product had a more universal shape to fit multiple types of small video cameras. You can try to fit other types of cameras in it, but it may be difficult to keep the camera lens against the lens plate on the bag (pay attention the dimensions).

This Waterproof Case is a great idea. At this cost, it provides a solution for most snorkelers. There are only two problems:
1. The depth range in limited, in case you ever want to go deep.
2. Only the smallest camera will fit. I tried to fit in my small video camera and it didn't, only my tiniest digital camera did.

It's definately watertight, but it can be a real pain getting a Canon TX-1 to stay in JUST the right spot to see through the lens port. Also hard to open and close the screen whilst inside. These may well not be issues with other camcorders that this is designed to work with.
That said, it is a MUCH cheaper alternative to a hard body case that I couldn't find for a TX-1 anyway. So, if you're just using it for recreational use, it's going to work just fine.
