Seriously, it's a battery. So far, it's worked as it should. I bought this one as a backup, and as my second battery when I eventually buy a battery grip. It charges and holds a charge. I charged it just before my family's recent weekend at Disney World and used the same battery all weekend (my original battery was charged and waiting in my camera bag). I shot about 300 pictures over the weekend. Of those, 7 were shot in JPEG, the rest were shot in RAW. After the weekend, my camera was still showing a full charge. Since we returned from our weekend vacation, I have shot another 180 pictures, all in RAW, all on the same battery, and it's still showing a full charge. So, I've got no complaints.

Don´t leale your battery in camera when not in use for long time if you dont want to spend more than necessary.

Purchased for my Canon EOS Rebel Xsi. Sorry to say after charging for 12 hours and then trying again 2 days later, charging for 24 hours...this battery only holds 1/2 a charge. I am trying to return it now.

I decided to buy a spare battery for my Canon Rebel xsi. This is the same one that the camera comes with when you first purchase it. My first battery seems to be performing just as well as it did when I got the camera and battery 3 years ago, so I trust that my new battery will be the same. I decided to buy a second one simply for back-up. The battery charges quickly and holds a charge for what seems like a long time. With everyday use of my camera, the battery holds a charge for a week or longer. Having a spare battery allows me to not stop in the middle of shooting to wait for my battery to charge.

I bought a battery grip and had to buy a second battery to go with it.
According to my previous experience, 3rd party batteries are never as good as the original brand!
This one works perfectly with the Canon BG-E5 battery grip on my Rebel XSI camera.

I just recently bought this battery as a backup. I used it for an all day shoot and the indicator hasn't even gone down to the half-way mark. I would definitely recommend getting this so you don't have to worry about running out of camera life while in the middle of a shoot. Great product!
