I dont have to worry about wearing my readers to see the numbers...this does the job beautifully...I bought to extend camera from the face because it was a little awkward tilting face due to nose touching camera. Got 2 birds with 1 stone...just awesome...easy to put on then put the piece that came with camera right over for extra extension and storage...BandH recommendation.

I'm glad I added this to my camera. I have a larger nose, so this does a great job of keeping it off the camera and screen. It's a must for all long nosed camera users.

I wear eyglasses. This eyepiece is soft and comfortable and keeps my nose from touching the camera and makes it easier to manual focus.

I really like this eyepiece. It's nice because I wear glasses. It mounts securely to the camera but the original eyepiece from the camera that mounts to it doesn't mount so securely. I like it enough to use it thus far.

After 2 years of dealing with nose smudges and fogged glasses I discovered the eye piece extender. I had a hood man eye piece for glasses but it limited the use of the swivle screen on my 60-d. I'm so glad I took a chance and got this device. I have no complaints, fits my camera and solved my problems. I have noticed no difference in view finder magnification. I would recommend to any one who wears glasses to shoot.

For me this eyepiece is a tremendous help, it makes it easier to use the viewfinder, and works better with the dioptric adjustment on the camera. It also does not seem to reduce the viewing area within the viewfinder.

I wear glasses and it helps me see the whole viewing area and icons and stuff inside the viewfinder.

I use the extender on my Canon Rebel XS and it works wonders! Very easy setup to install on your viewfinder and adapts to the eyepiece already in place from the factory. I wouldn't recommend adapting 2 of them together as it minimizes the view in the viewfinder before you photograph.

Perfect for keeping my nose off the LCD screen. I also didn't like the reduced view through the extender as some others have stated. So I opened it up, removed the two internal plastic magnification pieces and screwed the extender back together. Very easy mod. Now it's perfect. Same view as the cameras viewfinder and no more nose smudges!

The installation was beyond simple, works as promised. Had trouble with smudging on my screen before (despite average proboscis),now drastically reduced. Almost impossible to use glasses with camera before, now very comfortable.
Gives camera a pro look. The reduction in view finder magnification may be an issue for some people, haven't found it to be a problem for me while using my zoom or fixed lenses. If it is a problem you can remove the guts of it and just use as an extension. B+H is unbeatable for price&service, no competition up here in Canada. Blazing fast delivery, no hassles, highly recommended.

This extender fits perfectly on a T3i and keeps me from feeling like I'm mashing my nose against a piece of glass when using the viewfinder. The change in magnification takes a little getting used to but your eye adjusts with experience.

The additional millimeters gained by attaching the extender may seem insignificant at first, but after using it for a bit, you'll be surprised at the difference it makes not only in comfort, but in your ability to precisely determine focus as well. The thing I've never liked about SLR cameras was the fact that I had to "smash" my face against the back of the camera in order to get my eye close enough to the viewfinder to view, not only what I will be photographing, but also the camera information displayed inside the viewfinder. With this extender, I can comfortably hold the camera to my eye without 'greasing up' the back of the camera, or pushing on my nose

Many reviewers of this item commented on the fact that it kept their noses off the LCD. If that's all you want, I guess it's a fine product. I got it because as an eyeglass wearer, I couldn't see all the viewfinder contents at once. The extender solved that problem (almost) - it brought all but the extreme corners into view. But the 30% shrinkage of the image was too much. An image that was too small to begin with became miniscule, and a little barrel-distorted to boot. So for me, it's no dice.

If you have a Canon T2i or similar model buy this little accessory so you can stop smashing your face against the LCD screen when you take pictures. Works equally well if you are wearing glasses or sunglasses.
