Comments about Kata DVG-57 Camcorder Guard:
Used this on several of our XHA1 cameras and fits perfectly, protects everything needed. In regards to previous reviews - I was actually able to access everything in a run and gun production as needed.

Comments about Kata DVG-57 Camcorder Guard:
The DVG-57 does a great job of protecting the camera, perhaps a little too well. Expect setup time to triple at least if not more. Switching on the camera is still easy provided you leave the mode dial alone and only use the stand by / lock switch. But anything beyond that is near impossible. Flipping out the screen and getting batteries in and out are not too tough. Getting a tape out or access to anything under the LCD will make you miss anything you wanted to tape. And don't even think about the neutral density switch, your not getting to it without cursing. Bottom line this thing will protect your camera like nothing else out there, but do you have the patience to put up with it?
