The Customized 13" MacBook Notebook Computer from Apple gives you all the power of a Macintosh computer in an easily portable and attractive form. The laptop is housed in a white polycarbonate shell that brings the signature Apple design aesthetic to the notebook. It is designed to meet the needs of video editors, graphics designers, educators, and businesspeople who demand a compact and light portable computer.

The MacBook is powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. The Core 2 Duo is actually two processors built into a single chip, which translates into much better performance than a single processor chip. The computer is loaded with a 250GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive, 2GB of RAM, Airport Extreme wireless networking, integrated Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, built-in speakers and Apple's SuperDrive, an 8x speed DVD burner with support for dual-layer discs. The computer features a beautiful glossy 13" widescreen display that delivers a bright and clear image.

All this hardware runs on Apple's OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system with Rosetta technology. This allows you to seamlessly run legacy applications as well as Universal Binaries that have been designed to run on both PowerPC and Intel chips, making the MacBook a great choice for your home, office, or college dorm.

The system is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz GHz processor powered by a 800MHz front side bus. The Core 2 Duo features two processors on a single chip, which increases system efficiency and reduces power consumption compared to two-chip dual processor systems.

• 13" Glossy LCD Display

The 13.3" Glossy LCD display delivers crisp, clear graphics. It is large enough to allow you to work efficiently while still keeping the laptop small enough to be easily portable. The widescreen format gives you more viewing area than a standard aspect ratio display.

• Front Row

Apple's Front Row software turns your MacBook Pro into a sleekly designed media player. Working in conjunction with an Apple remote control, you can easily watch DVD movies and music videos, browse your iPhoto library and play music through iTunes. Integrating your entertainment center and computer is ideal for users with limited space such as a dorm room or apartment, or for those who simply want to get more out of their computer than word processing and web browsing.

• 8x SuperDrive DVD Burner

The slot-loading SuperDrive allows you to burn DVD and CD discs at lightning fast speeds, making it easy to transport and archive data from your computer. The drive also has support for 8.5 GB dual layer DVD media, allowing you to write a large amount of data to a single disc.

• FireWire and USB 2.0 Interfaces
