The Gitzo GT3531LSV Systematic 6X Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs is a two-stage video tripod that uses advanced "Carbon 6X" carbon fiber material for its leg construction. This improved tubing is stronger, lighter and as resistant as its 12 layer predecessor. Carbon "6X" is manufactured using a complex, 3-D process weaving 6 layers of carbon fiber into smooth, solid constructed tubes.

The GT3531LSV is designed as an ultra-sturdy video tripod. Its rated load capacity is 39.7 lbs, and it includes the GS5320V75 75mm Bowl Adapter which makes it compatible with all video heads featuring a 75mm half ball base. This adapter can be removed and replaced with other accessories, making this a fully customizable system.

Anti-Rotation Leg (ALR) System
The Anti-Rotation Leg (ALR) system makes it quick and easy to open and close the tripod. Simply turn all of the locking rings at once and the whole leg can be pulled out in seconds.
G-Lock Design
The G-Lock mechanism has been completely redesigned in order to achieve a 20% increase in rigidity, faster operation and stronger, safer locking. G-Lock's special design also provides a "gravity lock" effect: the higher the load applied vertically to the leg, the stronger the lock.
1mm Gitzo 6X Carbon Fiber Tube
Gitzo was able to develop a six-crossed multilayer carbon fiber 30% lighter than the previous 1.5mm generation that features the same exceptional performance of stability and vibration absorption and unbeatable quality.
Performance Design
Performance design allows the legs to be set individually at 24°, 55° and 90° to cover every angle you want to shoot.
Retractable Spike/Rubber Feet
These feet can be easily transformed into spike or rubber feet by simply turning the rubber cups in or out.

Comments about Gitzo GT3531LSV Systematic 6X Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs with 75mm Bowl Adapter:

I use these legs for outdoors videography. It packs up well enough to fit on my backpack and is so light that I don't mind that my fluid head is a bit heavy. The legs are incredibly sturdy and fast to put up. The wide motion of the legs allow for shots to be set up on pretty much any terrain. I've used them on ice, cliffs, and rocky beaches with professional results everytime.

Comments about Gitzo GT3531LSV Systematic 6X Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs with 75mm Bowl Adapter:

This is an excellent product that was purchased with a Sachtler FSB 6 Video Head and a Gitzo Carbon Center Column. This allows me to swap out the video head with the center column and shoot still photography. I wanted flexiblity, portability and quality to use with a 5DMKii and a HB. Very happy so far.
