Gitzo GM-2341 Aluminum 4-Section Monopod - Supports 20 lbs (9 kg)
The Gitzo GM2341 Aluminum Monopod will support up to 20 lbs, yet still only weighs 1.3 lb. It utilizes Gitzo's AL13 aluminum material, which is 30% lighter than its predecessor. It also features the same Anti Leg Rotation system introduced with Carbon 6X and Basalt, and comes finished in brushed matte black, for increased locking performance and minimised reflectivity.
- Anti-Rotation Leg (ALR) System
- The Anti-Rotation Leg (ALR) system makes it quick and easy to open and close the monopod. Simply turn all of the locking rings at once and the whole leg can be pulled out in seconds.
- Cushioned Grip
- The upper leg section is padded, for easier handling in extreme weather.
- Comes supplied with a hand strap.

i use this for sports action shooting. I love the fact that it has turn adjustments rather then folding snaps. I feel the folding snaps are suseptible to breaking.

This monopod is smooth as silk.The adjustments are made with a twist of the knobs without having to hold the leg section of the pod.It is very durable and very solid.It should last a lifetime.I am glad I bought this brand monopod.The handgrip is very comfortable also.
