It is priced very reasonably, has extensive space to store away tripod accesories and is the best insurance for your gear. In addition, it's universal design permits you to use it for any make of tripod.
I love this gizmo...sorry, Gitzo

Well finished but doesn't fit
Sold to contain Gitzo Series 2 tripods but fit is too tight for the Series 2 Leveling and totally impossible for the Series 2 Explorer tripods - be warned.

Construction is what you expect. Well made, attention to detail, should last forever. Sizing is critical, this tripod case is sized to fit snug. Snug is good.

Plenty of room for my Gitzo 2540 with my Arca-Swiss ballhead attached. Nice inside zippered pocket, handle and shoulder strap. Rugged zipper. High quality durable fabric. First class all the way. Feel confident backpacking, dragging through rough terrain, rocks, whatever... it can handle it!

Comments about Gitzo GC-2100 Padded Tripod Bag:
Protects my GT-2531 & RRS BH-30LR from all but extreme situations (it is a soft case).
Protection at a cost of about 10% of what's inside... seems reasonable to me.

Comments about Gitzo GC-2100 Padded Tripod Bag:
This is the perfect bag for my GT2531 with the Markins Q20. It is very well made and easy to carry.
The only issue I have is the exposed zipper tab on the inside pocket which is a potential hazard to the cosmetics of the enclosed gear. A quick remedy is to cover it with a short piece of vinyl tubing about 3/16" diameter or heat shrink tubing.

Comments about Gitzo GC-2100 Padded Tripod Bag:
I got this bag for my Gitzo 2531 Tripod and Arca-Swiss Z1 Ball Head and has approximately 3 inches to spare. My gear goes in and out with ease. Hand straps are a little off centered to compensate for a tripod head left on which makes it very well balanced. Quality Material used and heavy duty zippers and stitching as well. I would have liked it with a little more padding. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Comments about Gitzo GC-2100 Padded Tripod Bag:
This bag is made for the Gitzo tripod that I bought. It is well made, high quality and nicely padded for tripod protection. The only problem I experienced was it was that my tripod wouldn't fit in it with foam pads on the legs. I switched to bicycle tape on the legs and it works great now.

Comments about Gitzo GC-2100 Padded Tripod Bag:
It is very well padded. It has inner pockets to hold the allen wrenches for tightening the quick release plate or changing the center column. It has a nice handle. I have a prior model of the same bag, but this one seems to be a little smaller so that it will not hold an additional monopod like my other one.

I like the padding for those trips to harsh conditions where the tripod might get knocked about.

Comments about Gitzo GC-2100 Padded Tripod Bag:
This is a very nice bag to carry your series 2 tripod with attached head, with room to spare. You can even stash other items in there like a small monopod or accessories andtake it as a carry on with most airlines. My only complaint is that the enclosed zippered tool pouch's zipper who'll mark the legs of your CF tripod. I put some felt on it to hopefully stop that.

Comments about Gitzo GC-2100 Padded Tripod Bag:
This bag is a perfect fit for my Gitzo GT2531 with my Acratech GV head. It has good padding, but I do wish it had a little more. It's a snug fit, so I'm not sure if my tripod will still fit if I add the foam lenscoat leg protectors to it.
