The Best thing about this frame is that it is truely plug and play. It has slots for every memory chip and usb connector. You can plug anything, I mean ANYTHING into this thing and immediately start viewing photos. Office mate returns from vacation with a camera full of photos, I can look at those photos right now regardless of what memory media that camera uses.
This frame has great resolution. The remote is also very useful. The user interface is also very straight forward.
One thing this and many other photo frames lack that I wish they had is the ability to browse and sort folders of photos, and to program slide shows for specific folders in specific order. This frame lets you choose between random display and display by date. Not very useful if I want to compose a slide show looking at a bunch of pictures of my wife from different years, and then look at pictures of my kids from different years, and then my dog, etc. Unless I choose random sort, I will be lookng at the same photo show in the same order. Picture number 300, I probably won't see that one too often.
I also wish this frame had a rechargable battery. It's hard to pass this to someone for them to look at when there's a wire attached.

I bought this as a retirement gift for a friend and he was greatly impressed. Sony quality; really looks nice on his desk and he loves the way it accepts all sorts of different memory cards. All in all, a nice piece. The price could be a bit lower, though!

Comments about Sony DPF-V900, 9" Digital Picture Frame:
This picture frame has great resolution and color. Menu and remote very easy to use. The only thing bad about the frame is when it is in clock / picture mode. It shows the time and date the picture was taken instead of the present time and date. This frame would be five stars if not for this issue.

I bought this as a gift for my parents, I am responsible for placing the pictures on it and showing them how it operates. It was very user friendly. I really have no regrets about my purchase.

This frame lets you pop a multi-gig memory stick into it, after you have offloaded your camera's picture onto your computer and loaded your favorites onto the memory stick. Buy an HDMI cable and you can watch your favorite pictures on your HDTV. Easy to set up, slick frame remote, technology perfect for grandparents (me).

Comments about Sony DPF-V900, 9" Digital Picture Frame:
I bought two of these as presents for my parents. The finish of the frames is very nice and looks discrete compared to most other similar frames. The display quality is also the best I've seen. Unfortunately the display options seem somewhat limited as you cannot group photos into categories.
