No dead pixels. The picture is crystal clear. It has a fabulous ATSC digital tuner (as well as a conventional NTSC analog tuner). I really don’t think the Sony KDL-32XBR6 runs hot like other posters have said. I guess “hot” and “cold” are relative (as well as subjective) terms. We mostly use the TV to watch OTA (over-the-air) high definition free television broadcasts. Thus, we appreciate the included TV Guide. I think the sound is fabulous…absolutely no complaints. As you flip through the various menus, the “eye candy” is simply icing on the cake. The TV has controls on top. We have kids that aren’t able to reach the buttons, so we bought them a Sony RM-EZ4 “big button” remote control so that they can change the channels and the volume.Originally we had our eye on the Sony KDL-32XBR4 television. We were waiting for the price to drop to something more reasonable. My wife informed me one day that the “XBR4” was no longer available and that it had been replaced by the “XBR6”. She said it looks like the major difference is that it now has 1080p instead of 720p. Well that was enough to peak my interest again. We went to Best Buy to see it, and we were wowed! I asked the salesman if [...] would match an online price. Well, they came down $100 off their listed price. I called them back and they were out of stock, so I ended up purchasing the TV from B&H Photo Video.

EXCELLENT TV FOR AN OFFICE
GOOD SIZE AND SLEEK LINES FOR AN OFFICE. I`VE SEEN BETTER HD PICTURES IN OTHER SONY TV`S. IT WAS EASY TO SETUP. THE 4 HDMI PORTS ARE A DIFFERENT ADVANTAGE.

Comments about Sony KDL-32XBR6 1080p BRAVIA LCD TV:
We did extensive research on the XBR6 and XBR9, and finally decided on this tv after reading about all the issues associated the XBR9. We have no regrets, and love our TV. Setup was quick and easy. The picture and sound quality is incredible, and we haven't even upgraded to a HD cable box. I imagine that the picture will look even better once we do that. We're so pleased with our XBR6 and recommend it, if you can find one in stock.

Comments about Sony KDL-32XBR6 1080p BRAVIA LCD TV:
I was told by some that 1080p really doesn't make a difference when it's only a 32inch screen. I have seen 720p 32" TV's, and those that said this are way off. The sharpness and vividness of this picture just leave you smiling, and scanning the channels looking for something on TV that really tests the colors like something on Discovery Channel, and it doesn't disappoint. To some, a TV is a TV, and there's no difference between some lower end ones and a Sony or Samsung. If you're really uncertain whether to spend a few extra dollars, this is completely worth it. This TV has a good dynamic contrast ratio and the difference compared to lower end TV's that only have maybe 10,000:1 is so evident. The colors just jump out at you and the contrast in colors just has you noticing the smaller details, often making me miss the action when I am watching baseball games. The user interface is super easy to navigate and very attractive. Set up is quick and the remote is good. I could see how it would be annoying if that was the remote you use to go through channels since the Volume and Channel up/down buttons are at the bottom of the remote, so it's a little weird, but easy to get used to if you use it regularly. About B&H...EXCELLENT. [...] I was so excited for this TV and could not believe it when it was there so soon. B&H has always been a great buying experience whenever I have bought from them.Bottom Line: I could not be happier with this television, and I could NOT be happier with B&H. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody I know. A TV is NOT just a TV. HD is not just HD. But, a SONY is a SONY, and while you might pay more for the name, every little pixel makes it seem worth it.

Comments about Sony KDL-32XBR6 1080p BRAVIA LCD TV:
We use this TV in our bedroom. It replaced a 26 inch Samsung 720p. The increased size really makes a difference. The TV menu is very user friendly. The sound is great without any external equipment. We have not hooked up a BluRay player yet, that is the next investment. It has a beautiful picture through Direct TV. I would definitely recommend this product.

I only use this top of the line model as regular TV and DVD playing in my bedroom. Image and resolution are extremely good. Met my expectation of a typical Sony TV product.

Comments about Sony KDL-32XBR6 1080p BRAVIA LCD TV:
I've had my XBR6 for a few weeks now and couldn't be more thrilled. The picture quality is outstanding for an LCD. The sharpness and color depth is even better than I was expecting. I also enjoy the menu system that includes a use of "favorites" for selecting one of the available inputs. This makes it easy for my "non-technical" wife to easily change to the source she needs. I couldn't be happier with it so far.

Comments about Sony KDL-32XBR6 1080p BRAVIA LCD TV:
In a word, OUTSTANDING! This TV is very sleek and attractive in any room. The picture is gorgeous and the front S-force surround sound is amazing. I was really surprised at what Sony has done with the two front speakers. I have not added an external sound system to it, yet, and I'm not sure it needs it. The picture quality surpassed my expectations. I knew it would be good, but I didn't think it would be this good. Very clear color, and very clearly defined picture with very pure colors. Great job, Sony!

Comments about Sony KDL-32XBR6 1080p BRAVIA LCD TV:
I got the Sony KDL-32XBR6 from B&H about 3 or 4 weeks ago. [...]As for the TV...it's amazing. I already own a 32" Vizio HD LCD and it's a really nice TV also. So I'm not someone who is easily impressed by my "first HD TV". I was wondering if Sony would be worth the extra $350 over the Vizio. I really believe it is. The Sony has better specs, more connections, and an even better picture. HD signals from my cable provider look great on it and Blu-Ray movies look absolutely pristine! This is easily the best 32" TV on the market.

Comments about Sony KDL-32XBR6 1080p BRAVIA LCD TV:
I bought this TV for my husband as a birthday gift. I did a lot of research to find out which TV was the best on the market, no doubt the Sony Bravia 1080p LCD TV was the best rated one – top of the line. My husband LOVES it! Outstanding clarity, picture quality, sound, and easy to operate. I would love to have purchased a larger screen one but did not want to get rid of my entertainment center, so I had to settle for the 32" series. Wish the screen was a full 32" one - it's 31.1/2
Love the product, and would definitely recommend it!
