The reviewer who listed having to use Rhapsody as a con is wrong! I sync this thing to my Win media player all the time & have never used Rhapsody. GREAT little player!...Read complete review
The reviewer who listed having to use Rhapsody as a con is wrong! I sync this thing to my Win media player all the time & have never used Rhapsody. GREAT little player! And I use it to record my weekly staff meeting so I don't have to take notes! The headphones that come with it aren't that good, but for [$] I bought some JVC marshmallow headphones & now IT ROCKS!! I would recommend this MP3 player to anyone thinking about buying one.

This is apparently NOT Mac-compatible. We have had problems since I bought it in March. It was skipping songs, so I uploaded firmware (but the firmware it came with should have been adequate, rather than having to update firmware). Since then I was unable to upload Rhapsody since they are .exe files which are NOT Mac-compatible. Finally, I was instructed to convert iTunes files from MPEG to MP3 files, which was successful, but both times (for 2 different tunes I uploaded) the screen went blank when trying to play them. Both times I had to hold the button for 45 seconds to restart the SansaFuze.

My daughter wanted an iPod, but I didn't want to spend that much money. Luckily, I stumbled across some reviews for the Sansa Fuze, and bought one. It's easy to use, sounds great, and costs less than half of what the ipod costs. Gonna get one for myself!

I use this player frequently and i am pretty satisfied with its performance. it has great audio quality and a nice set of features. But the thing i don't like about it is the video format compatibility, its very picky about the types of videos it will play. otherwise its a good mp3 player with decent battery life and it is a very light and compact player.

The Sansa Fuze was easy to setup, exactly like the instructions said, no work arounds needed. Once installed is was relatively simple to build a playlist in Rhapsody and transfer music to the playlist and then sync with the media player. If you can enjoy listening to music, without all the bells and whistles of the apple "genre" this is the machine for you...Also the Microphone is built in, unlike the iPod
