This is about as simple and easy as panoramic rotators get. There is another review here where the guy couldn't figure out which was it lines up, not sure what he's doing. This lens only goes in one way and it stays in the perfect position. If for some reason your camera is turned a little to one side or the other the software you are using will fix this issue with zero problems.

This is the simplest way to do panoramas. 3 shots and done.

Just be careful not to over-tighten the screws when you put it together.

I've managed to get good seamless panoramas with this rotator and the sunex fisheye, but it's not 'plug and play', because of some quirks with the rotator.

There's no center mark on the fisheye lens to line up with this rotator. I can't understand this omission. They are meant to fit together. The rotator has a center marking arrow, but the lens has only the sunex logo at the center. There should be a line to match with the arrow.

Also, when clasping the metal brackets together over the lens, there appears to be an alignment problem. With the lens on, the ends of curved metal brackets do not meet - there's a gap. Machining quality control issue or design flaw? Who knows.

Also, getting the bracket off the lens requires use of the L-shaped key. Minor hassle.

Not sure if it's just my copy or they're all like this, but mine feels like an unfinished project from the workshop!

That said, I'm keeping mine and still use it, but it pretty much stays attached to the fisheye. Getting the lens centered on that thing is not a precision feature of the rotator and lens combo.

Choosing the right software to get all this converted to great panoramas, is another story and another mission! It's all possible, but a warning that you won't get there straight out of the box with this equipment.

This Rotator is the best piece i've ever had in my hand. It feels like a piece of metal and it also looks like it would have been carved out of one block.

This is a simple easy rotator for the Sunex 5.6mm lens. It does a great job of a simple task. I also have a 360 Precision, it does a better job, because you can shoot a Zenith shot also, but overall this is prefect for what it does, if you want something simple and easy. Its also light.
