Good point and shoot camera, HD video is good enough on day light situations or interiors. In night exteriors situations is regular.

Comments about Kodak EasyShare M1033 Digital Camera (Black):
I bought this as a general purpose camera to keep in my pocket all the times and was particularly interested in its ability to shoot HD video. As a still camera I would say it is just OK. Does not do well in low light - especially if you turn the flash off - tends to set itself to ISO 3200 which results in highly grainy photos. That said, it does just fine if you set ISO and other settings manually - so if you know how to do that and are comfortable with manual settings (as I am) it works great. Similar feedback on it video capture mode. Quality in anything but bright light is grainy - though quality in well lit settings is great. Built very sturdy. Small form factor slides easily into jean pocket. Controls take a little getting used to as the little nub that you move from side to side to select options needs to be pressed to select your option. I have found that if I am not careful it easily jumps to another preference as you press the selection. A couple other (minor) annoyances I have experienced are that the lower quality of the photos taken in low light is not that apparent upon review on camera - they actually look decent on the screen on the back of the camera but not so hot when downloaded to computer. Also, not sure if I am using an SD that is larger than the camera is designed for, but with my 8gb card inserted I noticed that the photos remaining count and time remaining for video count do not appear to be anywhere near correct (display shows about 1/2 of what the card actually holds). All that said, for the purposes I bought this camera for I love it. I did not have super high expectations for a [$] camera. I wanted something with a small form factor that would take decent pictures in well lit situations and allow me to capture HD video. Works great for both and I am satisfied with it and thing it is a great value for the price.

This is a great camera for social gatherings when I don't want to carry a bigger camera. It is physically comfortable to handle even though it is very small. The quality is excellent, and the 3" monitor is great for those of us who appreciate a little bigger "view."

I use this for general pictures of things which might come in handy later. This camera is great! It has a decent image quality, a good amount of internal memory. Also, though the camera lacks an optical viewfinder, the 3-inch screen is great. The only thing i didnt like about it was that some buttons were on top.
