The DMW-LMCH67 Multi-Coated Protector Filter is a wise initial investment. It helps protect your valuable investment from dust, moisture and scratches, which can lead to costly repairs. A Protector Filter is probably the most popular filter people use. As a lens protector, it should be left on at all times to guard against front element damage.
A Protector Filter is the best available protection for the front element of your lens. A lens that accidentally gets dropped on its front element while hiking can potentially be saved by purchasing this item. Some people refer to it as "cheap insurance".
Multicoated to minimize reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting.

Comments about Panasonic DMW-LMCH67 Multi-Coated Protector Filter for Lumix Camera:
I put this on my lens right away when I bought it to protect the expensive glass. It's a nice thin filter made of quality glass and easy to clean. Wouldn't think of using a new lens without first protecting it. What's better than a Panasonic accessory made for a Panasonic product.
