The Brother MFC-9840CDW All-In-One Wireless Printer with Automatic Duplexing delivers beautiful color and razor-sharp monochrome output. It features fast print and copy speeds, flatbed copying and scanning, and an up to 35-page auto-document feeder for multi-page documents.

The MFC-9840CDW includes a built-in wireless 802.11b/g interface, in addition to its built-in Ethernet network and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface, enabling direct printing of PDF and JPEG files from - or scan files to - a USB flash memory drive (not included), without being connected to a computer. The USB interface also facilitates printing directly from PictBridge-enabled cameras.

Along with a 5-line LCD display, the MFC-9840CDW also provides a large, legal-size (8.5 x 14") flatbed document glass for copying and scanning. It also has a large-capacity auto document feeder that holds up to 50 pages.

• Fast, High Quality Printing: This printer delivers an impressive color and monochrome print speed of up to 21 pages per minute, and copy speeds of up to 17 copies per minute. Produce brilliant, colorful presentations, brochures and documents that will give you a competitive edge.

• Expandable Paper Capacity: This unit has a 250-sheet capacity paper tray adjustable for letter or legal paper and a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray for envelopes, labels, letterhead or cardstock. With an optional 500-sheet letter/legal paper tray the device can increase total paper capacity to 800 sheets.

• Legal-Size Document Glass: Ample room for placing larger documents, books, magazines and other materials on the document glass for scanning or copying.

• High Quality Color Scanning: Use the legal size document glass to scan a single page or the 50-page capacity auto document feeder to scan multiple pages at a time (up to legal size).

• Wired and Wireless Network Connectivity: It can be connected to a wireless or Ethernet network for shared workgroup use. Print, scan or send faxes wirelessly as well as the ability to install the MFC on a wired network or connect locally to a single computer via USB.

• Duplex Printing: Save paper and reduce costs by printing two-sided documents and booklets. Plus, two-sided scanning using the auto document feeder for copying, scanning and faxing.

• Auto Document Feeder: Its auto document feeder accommodates 50 pages to facilitate your work.

• Walk-up Access to LDAP Network: Save time and reduce errors with instant direct access through your network connected MFC-9840CDW to a virtually infinite number of E-mail and fax addresses stored in your LDAP network address books. Simply use the 5-line LCD display on the MFC-9840CDW control panel to locate, view, and select the contacts stored in LDAP network address books.

• Scan-to-FTP-Server Features: Scan documents and images and post them to FTP sites directly through a network-connected device. Posting files to FTP sites for easy retrieval and download by permitted users. Multiple FTP server profiles can store specific sites and folder locations, access codes, and scanning preferences for your frequently used FTP locations, cutting time spent and potential errors.

• High Speed Faxing: Send and receive faxes quickly in b&w or color using its high-speed 33.6K bps fax modem.

• Scan to Other Fax-Server Applicatons: If you employ a leading network-based fax-server application in your enterprise, the MFC-9840CDW can be set up as a document scanning device to work with it. Transmission of your faxes will then take place through your preferred network-based fax-server application, rather than through its built-in fax modem.

• Easily Accessible USB Direct Interface: Conveniently print PDF or JPEG files from or scan PDF or JPEG files to a USB flash memory drive. You can also print directly from a PictBridge compatible digital camera.

• High Capacity Replacement Toner Cartridges: Lower your cost per page and copy, since you won't have to replace toner cartridges as often.
