With an exceptional surround sound reproduction, an unobtrusive multi-channel speaker design, and Blu-ray HD compatibility, the Sony HT-CT100 3.1-Channel Surround Sound System will take your home theater experience to new heights. This system was designed for both professional and home entertainment enthusiasts with the capability to deliver a full, clear, and tight sound response. It eliminates the need to install multiple speakers in your home theater set-up, by combining advanced signal processing and acoustical geometry with S-Force PRO Surround Technology. This enables this system to reproduce exquisite surround sound from a compact, dual component set-up.

In addition, this system features 250W of total power, three 50W full range drivers housed in the center speaker (Soundbar) component, slim-profile 100W powered subwoofer, built-in Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Pro Logic encoders, iPod connectivity, DMP port, and three HDMI inputs with 1080p/24p True Cinema capabilities. Its stylish, streamline design will complement the newest flat-screen Plasma and LCD TVs in your home theater configuration.

• S-Force PRO Front Surround Technology: By using Sony's digital S-Master amplification and DSP technology, realistic surround sound can be generated from just two front speakers. It provides an enjoyable listening experience without center and rear speakers. This system can be used in rooms of all sizes, and is especially convenient for very small rooms.

• High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) x3: If you're looking to pump high-definition DVD playback into your home theater, this system will do the job. It has an integrated digital processor capable of transferring 720p, 1080i, and 1080p/24p video signals through the HDMI output.

• BRAVIA Home Theater Sync: Go beyond simple audio and video transmission with the "one-touch play" remote control feature that allows you to easily manage select BRAVIA televisions and Sony HDMI audio and video components with the included remote control.
