• OCR & TTS Capability: The BookReader V100 provides extremely accurate OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and TTS (Text-to-Speech) capability that quickly and easily convert printed documents into high quality speech with a lifelike voice.

• Natural Voice Reproduction: The Plustek Book Reader provides exceptional quality speech output to make your book reading experience more enjoyable. It also the playback to be slowed down or speeded up to enhance user comfort, and the speech output works with English or Spanish text.

• Magnify Tool: The user-friendly magnifying tool can be used independent of the Book Reader system and gives you complete access to all other programs for which you may need enlarged print, and provides a See & Speak function for the enlarged text.

• Scan to PDF: The included software provides a one step process to create or save your documents as PDF format files.

• Save Text as Audio Files: Scanned documents can be saved in MP3 or WAV format so you can enjoy "reading" books anytime and anywhere.

• Color Contrast Function: The color contrast function increases the visual effectiveness and helps those with color blindness using certain color combinations. This allows for a more enjoyable and easy reading situation that is not hard on the eyes.

• Repeating Function: With a press of one button, the Repeating Function allows the user to repeat text with varying degrees (repeats last word, sentence, paragraph or page depending on user selected preset).
