The cable is functioning fine, but there are two issues to note.
1) the attachement screws just barely threaded into the back of my monitor. I compared the screw protrusion length to my other cables and it appears to be about the same, but this cable has a large lead-in bevel on the screw end that wipes out the first thread or so. Enough to make a difference!
2) the cable diameter is a bit large and a bit stiff. Workable, but not elegant
Bottom line, next time I would try a different brand

I needed a better DVI cable than the one Acer sent with my monitor. The cable is 3/8" in diameter & is pretty stiff. It is not as flexible as say a fire wire cable but it is very rugged. Make sure you get a long enough length. I went with a length longer than I needed based off of another review & I am glad I did. It is a professional cable & has met all of my needs. Make sure you check if your computer accepts a DVI-D cable or a DVI-A cable (analog).
