This is the worst Tv that I have ever purchased. Had problems within the first three months that I owned it. The TV lasted about two years and the sound went bad. Cost as much to repair as purchasing a new TV. When I orginally purchased the product I had expected it to last at least 5-7 years. I don't forsee myself ever purchasing another SONY product if all I can expect out of it is 2 years.

This is the second Sony Bravia I Bought 37 inch For Bedroom.... and 40 Inch For My Parents Picture is Great ...Hook ups for Blu Ray and Dvd and Camcorder 4 HDMI and other lines a little tough on parents to figure out input lines but with pratice they will learn ..they still like to use VCR tapes

This 40V4150 is pretty much similar to 40V4100. The difference between 40V4100 and 40V4150 is the manufacturer warranty being 12 months and 18 months respectively. Second difference is the speaker panel at the bottom is silver for V4100 and black for V4150. The 60Hz/120Hz is a moot point on the 40", may be significant for 46" and 52".[...] I hooked up a normal sony dvd player to the tv and whoa ! what a stunning picture quality and color rendition !

After reading many reviews I decided to go with a Sony LCD. I have not been disappointed. The 40v150 displays a very clear, very sharp 1080i. The first time I turned it on I was pleasantly pleased and continue to be so. Blue-Ray videos come in extremely sharp and - I have yet to mention - in great quality sound. While obviously not surround sound, the 40v4150 is clear and no background noise.
Overall a great buy! If you are looking for a tv - consider this one.
