Comments about DMW-HDC2, HD (High Definition) Component Cable for the Panasonic DMC-FX35:
I bought the OEM cable even though there are cheaper versions available, and it works great. Maybe the others would have as well, but it's worth the extra money to have confidence that the cable will show the photos as crisply as possible.

Comments about DMW-HDC2, HD (High Definition) Component Cable for the Panasonic DMC-FX35:
Tested on both LX3 and TZ5, it gives a much higher-def image on TV than the cable that comes with the camera.
The cable is expensive for what it does. Would be nice if it came with camera.

Comments about DMW-HDC2, HD (High Definition) Component Cable for the Panasonic DMC-FX35:
Even though the cable literture does not mention it, this cable also works with the Panasonic DMC-FZ28 camera and is an optional accessory described in the camera manual. The cable allows viewing pictures in high definition on an HD TV. You get 3-lead component 1080i high definition video plus 2 channels of sound instead of composite video and one channel of sound with more traditional camera cables: The difference is phenominal.
The length works well for me, but since I just purchased the cable, I cannot comment on its durability.

Comments about DMW-HDC2, HD (High Definition) Component Cable for the Panasonic DMC-FX35:
The cable gave the highest possible image quality for my TV, my mom & wife were excited by clean & vivid photos.
The only minor fault was that of two Red-colored RCA jacks (red-color video-out & right-channel audio) "audio" label was on a wrong one, giving image without red color and noise in the speaker. After realizing that, I just inserted jacks vice-versa, and everything is fine now.

This cable provides the user with high quality video output from the camera. Photos and movies are very crisp, clear, and have good color. It makes it a pleasure to review my photos on a big screen HDTV. The cable will work with any RGB input using RCA jacks.

Comments about DMW-HDC2, HD (High Definition) Component Cable for the Panasonic DMC-FX35:
I am using this HD cable with my Panasonic DMC-TZ5 and the photos and videos look great on my high definition Sony LCD. I could not find this cable at the local stores or even on Panasonic's website but B&H had it. A week later I was viewing HD photos and videos on my Sony LCD.
