Canon Starter Kit for Canon Digital Rebel T1i & XSi Digital Camera
The Canon Starter Kit for the Canon Digital Rebel T1i and XSi will make using your camera more pleasurable and productive. The kit includes a Canon Gadget Bag, an LP-E5 Battery Pack, and a 58mm UV Haze Protection Filter. The Gadget Bag can hold all of your camera accessories and up to 3 additional lenses; the additional LP-E5 Battery Pack provides more shooting power so you can take pictures longer; and the UV Haze Protection Filter fits most Canon Lenses and protects the front element of the lens from dirt and scratches while also correcting for Ultraviolet (UV) light which can produce a bluish cast in your images and obscure distant details.

This kit has everything you need to start off with. The bag has many pockets and adjustable sections that accommodate almost everything you will need. The UV protector is invaluable in increasing the image quality, and protecting the lens. And its never a bad idea to have an extra battery!

I bought this bag thinking I could use it as a storage bag for my gear. Don't get me wrong, I like the bag, great protection, nice dividers and well made. My problem is, I didn't measure my tele zoom attached to the camera with hood.
In addition to my smaller lenses I purchased an EF 70-300 is usm for my wildlife shoots. Attached to my T1i with hood it fits with an inch or two to spare.
I don't like to cram things in a bag, but for now the other lenses are in padded cases laying on top of the camera with the 70-300 is usm.
Coming with the Canon LP-E5 battery and UV filter are definately a plus. The above comment, as to size, is with the dividers removed.

This is a great storage bag but too big and bulky to carry around for "everyday" use. It is very flexible because the internal dividers are attached with velcro so you can put them where you need them.
It comes with a genuine Canon battery so this was a great deal.
B&H had the best deal out there when I got mine.

This is a MUST have accessory package. Custom made bag, original Canon spare battery, & lens filter. The bag is ideal sized, not too big, not too small. Fits extra lens, other accessories, keeps it all well padded & protected. The access is also well thought out. Zipper for secure longer term closure, with clip belt for quick easy, frequent opening.
