The QVX421 Quattro Vue FX from Analog Way is a high-resolution scaler and seamless switcher designed to manage digital and analog computer and video signals. The unit will also manage audio signals, as well. It includes a digital decoder, 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down circuitry, auto adaptive pixel-by-pixel 3D motion compensation, time-base corrector, and frame-rate conversion & follow. It also features an auto setup function and auto clock and phase for computers.
The unit offers true scaled preview and effects, including picture-in-picture (PIP), fade, titling, logo insertion, and frame stores, among others. Image quality can also be controlled with adjustment settings for brightness, contrast, color, hue, processing, aspect ratio, and zoom. Preferences for these settings can be saved in the device's non-volatile memory.
It has the capacity for future upgrades via firmware updates, which can extend the useful life of the unit despite changes in technology. An optional TCP/IP connection allows for remote management of the unit.
