I bought this so I could record the presentations at WPPI, but now I am going to end up using it to record nature sounds, interviews with my brides and grooms, lectures, and other things as well. I couldn't be more pleased. I was able to record about 5-6hrs of audio before needing to switch the batteries on it. I love the compact size, the performance, especially that it records straight to MP3, so I don't have to monkey with converting the audio files from some proprietary format. Absolutely love it.

I use this recorder to record manager meetings, customer comments and sales meetings. This recorder picks up voices better than any other mini recorder I have ever had. The MP3 files play back much clearer than I expected. I would recommend this unit to anyone. No complaints.

The recorder is basically very easy to use however the sound quality, even for straight up voice recording is so-so at best. It is really easy to get distortion even in an ideal circumstance i.e. quiet room, no background noise, dictation-style recording. Overall it suits the purpose that I bought it for but I'd like to see an improvement in sound quality in future models and I'd probably look at other brands if I were to purchase this kind of device again.

Im a journalist, It produce an clear and excelent quality of sound in the records and its very easy transfer to my pc. But its very slow to star when it is off, it takes ten seconds. If you are a reporter it could be a problem.
