Easy set-up and easy to use right out of the box. Good picture quality. I've only printed about 50 pictures so far but satisfied with the results.I haven't hooked it into a computer yet so I cannot comment on the software. If I had a complaint, it would be that when printing from a card, it always returns to the first file so you have to scroll through the same pictures over and over to get to the next one you want to print. I also would prefer a larger preview screen. Overall a good buy and I would recommend it.

This sublimation printer has given me very good results until now. I am using for my business and I must say I am very satisfied with it.
The colors are well defined and the cost of printing is very acceptable.
I recommend using it with PHOTODESIREE2 sotware works great and you can adjust the tonality of the picture like you're using a Mini conplicaciones Photoshop but very easy to use.

I bought this Printer to replace my [$] Sony Passport System which went kaput. I was concerned that the quality of the S420 might not be as good as what I had been using. My concerns were totally unfounded. The S420 creates crisp, clear images comparable to those images I was used to getting from my Sony. It has a number of different USB ports and the accompanying software makes this little beauty very easy to use. I would highly recommend the S420 to anyone looking for beautiful, crisp, clear color photos.

Great printer, good print speed, low operational cost, easy to use, great 2.5 inch monitor to allow setup and modification of photos.
The only con is its size. It is larger than our original passport photo printer and it makes storage a little difficult in our store cabinets. However, it is smaller than some other dye-sub printers, just not as small as we would have liked.

I use this printer for passport photos, replacing the old standard Polaroid camera. This is a great little printer! Print costs are 1/2 of what the Polaroids were. Simple and efficient interface that works with out software. Bungled software is really slick and can be useful in many ways. Great product!

I bought this to replace the old polaroid passport camera. I did not want to invest a lot of money on another equipment and this printer somehow was priced close to my budget. The color/image produced matched is quite satisfactory. User friendly and very simple to operate with the included software. The matching paper and ribbon is a great idea along with its decent price. I thank B&H for dependable low pricing. It helps a small business.

This is a great 4x6 photo printer. No qualifications - I am very, very happy with the quality of the photos that it prints. Speed is reasonable too.
The S420 is easy to set up and use. No problem at all printing from PSE. Plus, the ability to print directly from the camera (via USB cable) or from memory cards gives added flexibility (and is VERY easy to do - even without reading the manual). xD card users, IF they wish to print directly from their card, will need a card adapter. The S420 also takes input from flash drives (but doesn't seem to handle drives having directory trees or installed software, in my experience).
It has a pretty small footprint - great for a crowded work area - and a solid, quality appearance.
I especially like the fact that this type of printer is fine with intermittent use. No clogged heads, no cleaning cycles - just great photos.
Documentation is sparse but sufficient. I made one quick call to the manufacturer's support line - got through immediately with a quick, correct answer to my question.
Bottom line - I've had this printer for nearly a month now and still love it. I wouldn't hesitate to repeat this purchase!
