The Tenba Shootout Backpack, Small (Black) is a padded weather-resistant Ripstop nylon backpack made to carry a digital SLR four lens outfit and a 12-13" laptop computer. It has a padded dividable main section for photo equipment and a removable padded, frame sheet reinforced laptop compartment for a laptop computer. There is a fully adjustable harness/belt system, a waist belt that features multiple clip-on points for pouches and accessories plus hand carrying straps on top of the pack and on both sides to let you "grab and go" from any position.
The Shootout backpack has padded side pockets that feature interior panels that can be moved to convert the space from cargo pocket to QuickAccess interior hatches. This allows fast, easy retrieval of a lens or accessory without having to fully remove or open the entire pack. There are interior clear, plasticized mesh pockets and web loops to hold accessories plus a removable Media Wallet and removable Phone/Music Pouch.
The backpack also features a MSTC (Multi-Stage Tripod Carrying) system which adjusts to securely and optimally carry tripods of varying sizes and styles. A fast deploying WeatherWrap auxiliary protection cover fully encloses the entire harness for hand carrying or storage.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Backpack, Small (Black):
I needed a bag for travel that would be large enough to hold my gear but small enough to be carry-on compliant. This holds everything with ease... body, 70-200mm, 24-70mm, filters, flash, computer, etc etc. Has built in rain fly, shoulder straps and hip belt that hide away for travel. This pack is engineered brilliantly. Comfortable to wear and quick, easy access to everything inside. Also holds a tripod... very well.

Great backpack. Felt great on a recent trip walking around as a tourist in San Francisco, Monterey, Santa Cruz and Carmel. Felt just like a regular backpack. It held all my gear with great protection.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Backpack, Small (Black):
I'm looking for a backpack I could carry hiking with my tripod strap on it as well. I loved the tripod carried that this backpack offers. The tripod carrier is the most creative backpack tripod carrier system that I have seen and because of that I didn't hesitate to order it. This bag seems to be well made and thought out. I liked the rubber zipper system (I didn't test it to see if it would leak) and the harness system. The harness system is the second reason I order this backpack. If you watch the video, you will see that there is a small zipper compartment that allows you to take out lenses and camera, as the video says "So you won't miss a shot". After dropping and breaking a lens from a shoulder bag that was in my lap, I didn't see my swapping a lens by grabbing it from behind my back. For me that wasn't a selling point. However, I return this backpack for a refund. I did this for two reasons, it's too heavy. It has too many features to be light. When I go hiking, I may hike 10 to 15 miles in a day. I couldn't see me carrying this bag for that distance. Second, there was no room for any personal gear not even a water bottle. I would recommend this backpack but not for hiking.

Excellent. B&H sells it cheaper than Tenba [...].I have 3 Domki Bags and this is the same quality in a backpack. The small is great for short trips but I also got the medium for trips when I need to carry more equipment. You will not be disappointed. Quality Product.Great if you get caught in the rain, and very comfortable to carry. Easy access side pockets are great to get a flash or lens without opening the entire bag.
