The Tenba Shootout Rolling Backpack, Large (Black) is a padded weather-repellant ripstop nylon backpack with built-in wheels made to carry a two digital SLR camera outfit and a 17" laptop computer. It has a padded dividable main section for photo equipment and a removable padded, frame sheet reinforced laptop compartment for a laptop computer. There is a fully adjustable harness/belt system, a waist belt that features multiple clip-on points for pouches and accessories plus hand carrying straps on top of the pack and on both sides to let you "grab and go" from any position.
The Shootout backpack has padded side pockets that feature interior panels that can be moved to convert the space from cargo pocket to QuickAccess interior hatches. This allows fast, easy retrieval of a lens or accessory without having to fully remove or open the entire pack. There are interior clear, plasticized mesh pockets and web loops to hold accessories plus a media wallet and phone/music pouch.
The backpack also features a MSTC (Multi-Stage Tripod Carrying) system which adjusts to securely and optimally carry tripods of varying sizes and styles. A fast deploying WeatherWrap auxiliary protection cover fully encloses the entire harness for hand carrying or storage.

Unbalanced. It tumbles during rolling on pedestrians way all the time...
Zippers are really difficult to zip...

Comments about Tenba Shootout Rolling Backpack, Large (Black):
I hated this bag from the first time I used it, and then one of the shoulder straps broke loose last week while I was out in the east coast blizzard, forcing me to roll around in the snow: this top heavy mess with tiny wheels. Imagine my frustration. The pack is less than a year old and I've given it MILD use.
I've owned plenty of air cases (rolling and not), shoulder bags and portfolio cases by Tenba and I've always been happy. This was my first time buying a rolling backpack specifically, from anyone. The material looked tough in the showroom, but shreds like toilet paper when it gets near stone, concrete or brick. A backpack this big is going to be heavy, so why did they give it such small wheels so close together... and such a flimsy single post handle?? You can't keep this thing on the road anywhere but a perfectly flat hotel lobby or airport terminal (and this bag is marketed as an all weather, all terrain product in the in-store and packaging materials). Last week while hoofing around the city, the base anchor of one of the shoulder straps pulled free of the backpack... stunned but not surprised: the overall poorly designed backpack also has bad stitching or not enough of it to support a full load.
This backpack is an embarrassment. I'm going to ask Tenba to take it back.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Rolling Backpack, Large (Black):
I use the bag as a bit of a combo bag. I am a webmaster and in charge of shooting my own photos, video and writing my own content. The bag is big enough for me to put my camera (Sony HDR-11) in there along with my camera body and a couple of lenses as well as my 17 inch laptop.
The zippers are good and bad at the same time. They are really sturdy but the lining around them sometimes makes it tough to get into them quickly.
The worst thing about the bag is the terrible "instructions" that they send you. I still really don't know how to use all of the features of the bag because the instructions are pretty much for all of their bags and then there was an insert that was more specific to this bag. If I ever get a free day I will just have to play around with it and figure out how to use all of the features.
But even with that bit of negative news this bag has become my bag of choice when I am having to bring out all of my equipment and travel with just one accessory bag. It is solid as a rock and it definitely lives up to its billing as being an industry leader in gear protection.

The perfect backpack for my needs was simple---at least I thought so. I travel frequently by air and car and need a backpack that will hold two SLR's, assortment of lenses, flash, and an assortment of filters and accessories. In addiiton I wanted a backpack that would safely carry my 17" laptop. When I started looking I found very few backpacks that met many of my needs, however, none that covered them all. This Tenba backpack meets all those needs and includes added benefits I wouldn't have thought of had I designed my own custom backpack. I'm able to carry both SLR's, lenses, and accessories along with my laptop with ease. The backpack is easy to convert to a rolling bag for the airport and stores in the overhead luggage compartment. Since I don't travel with a pack mule I won't be using this backpack on extended hikes---I'll use a much smaller backpack for those trecks. Tenba has designed the perfect backpack for me! I give Tenba the highest marks for quality, inovation, style, comfort, and design at a reasonable price.
