The Tenba Shootout Medium Shoulder Bag (Black) is a water-resistant ripstop nylon bag made to carry a D-SLR digital camera, lenses and accessories. The top-opening main compartment holds photo or digital gear and accessories. Additional accessories are carried in the exterior and interior pockets. There is a removable media wallet and phone/music pouch. The vertical zipper design allows easy "no-spill" access to accessories in the mesh pockets. The case closes with weather sealed zippers and the Covert Clip backup closure system that features "invisible" flat buckles. It has dual-door side panels; one for accessories, the other for direct-access to the inside of the case.
The Shootout shoulder bag is carried by a detachable handle and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with an ergonomically contoured shoulder-gripping pad that makes carrying even a heavily-loaded bag comfortable and secure. The case includes a WeatherWrap rain cover.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
I use the bag to carry and protect my camera and equipment.
It is great for carrying more than a standard camera and lens. The divisions are adequate. The water seals are impressive; but will they last?
Not so great is that it can get bulky and the pockets carry only thin items. But overall, I am quite happy with it.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
This bag turned out to be a big disappointment! I took it to Washington DC for the day and by the time I got home the shoulder strap was ripping! The strap was too bulky and uncomfortable to begin with. The bag I did like. It held a lot of gear; I had in it my Pentax K10D with grip, 18-250, 55-300, sigma 70-200 f/2.8 and flash. The sigma was a little tight in the bag. I bought the bag because of the tripod straps but after using them I did not them that idea. Evertime you put the bag down it sits on the tripod and rolls over! I did send the bag back! I was afraid that if the strap can't last more than one day how would the bad holdup!

Comments about Tenba Shootout Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
i use this bag on a daily basis to cary:
canon 40d backup body
70-200 2.8 IS
24-70 2.8
550ex
450ex
2 multimax
off camera shoe cord
8 pack aa battery case
canon battery charger
it holds allot more that it looks like it will
the side and front pockets are a little cramped
the card holder linning has ripped after 2 months
my biggest gripe is that the strap has a sliding pad which at first was comfortable but now the strap has bunched up in the pad and cuts into my shoulder.
I shoot with the bag on me most of the time.
I had to canabalize the strap of an older lowepro bag.
the clips on the top of the bag make it very easy to access your gear while shooting or wearing and be able to close it back up so you don't loose anything.
It would be nice it the bag was just an inch larger in the main compartment and the side pockets were a little deeper
I have not used the special zipper side access although that was one of the reasons i chose this bag.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
One small caveaut, and really to nit pick, it would be more convenient if it were about 2" larger in interior height so that it would accomodate my (very large)Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS USM zoom lens mounted on my Canon 50D body togeter sitting upright or in the vertical orientation in the bag like the large model of the bag does. At any rate, it is (in my opinion) one of, if not the best shoulder bag available. I am completely satisfied with the bag.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
I use the medium bag dedicated to my Nikon D200 mounted to a 70-200 f2.8 VR and the customized interior made it happen. There is room for myspeedlight SB-600, extra batteries, charger, and remote. Shoulder strap is very comfortable. From the nylon, to zippers and to design it is the best made and stylish bag I own. I use a Lowe Pro Rezo 180 for my other D200 with a 17-55 f2.8 as my second dedicated bag and it is great too, but I prefer the Tenba shootout. Got a great price used as it was a floor demo and it was just like brand new

Comments about Tenba Shootout Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
Perfect for SLR with grip and a couple of lenses and flash. Best build I've seen in a bag. Don't waste your $$$ on cheaper bags in the $70-80 range of the same size. The build quality of this is really a huge step up and this will last. Has all metal clips and quality zippers with water sealing.
Other bags I've used include Lowepro and Tamrac
