BenQ SP870 DLP Multi-Media Projector
The BenQ SP870 is the bright choice for meetings with a powerful 5000 lumen lamp that lets you keep the lights on during use without detracting from the viewing experience. A dark room might be good for watching a movie, but it doesn't work so well for meetings or other occasions where participants need to take notes or consult printed documents. The SP870 is designed for just such situations, rendering a spectacularly vivid and richly colored picture--even with the lights on.
The high 2000:1 contrast ratio means fine details and subtle color differences are rendered vividly even in darkly lit scenes. The extraordinarily bright picture is complemented by image enhancement technologies such as BenQ's exclusive BrilliantColor, 3D color management, and UNISHAPE. There is even wall color correction to ensure excellent color rendition even on non-standard projection surfaces such as walls or blackboards.

Two BenQ SP870s replaced our old sanctuary projectors...wow, what a difference. The SP870s have 5000 lumens of beautiful brightness!! And the clarity is remarkable. This model isn't 'technically' HD, but videos/clips look crisp on our 10' x 12' screens with the house lights up!

Extremely bright projector for the price. Can use in rooms with excess ambient light without a problem. However, cannot use alternative lenses and so throw ratio is very limited. Good for small rooms and small screen applications.

This projector was easy to install and is one of the most powerful lumens) I've ever seen. The manual is great (infortunately you have to print it off of a disk). The only difficulty is that I have still not figured out how to register the projector on-line or otherwise.
