I bought this adapter for use on TV and DVD plaers to access various apps. Since all wireless adapters are brand specific this is a great alternative and gives you a wired network which is better for downloads etc than the wireless. You can use two sets of these adapters for three devices (TV, DVD). Only bad thing I've found is that you cannot access Samsung TV apps (they are only accessible with s Samsung adapter) but it will work on a Samsung Blue Ray player which has the same apps as the TV. Works good on my LG TV and Panasonic Blue Ray player as well as the Samsung DVD and costs a lot less than buying three or four wireless adapters.

Being hearing impaired the CapTel phone was located next to the computer internet connection. Now it may be moved to any phone jack in the house and just plug it into an outlet.

In my apartment building there are lots of sources of RF interference that mess up my wifi reception, either slowing it down or cutting it off completely. I bought this product hoping it would get around the problem and it does. Now I have uninterrupted broadband speed again, without having to run ethernet cables through my home.

I recently obtained a DVR for my DISH TV service. The internet connection is about 100' away and a difficult location to run a newtwork wire. I purchased the MegaPlut 85 Mbps which came with 2 wall units to plug into electrical outlets, and 2 network cables. I simply plugged a unit into outlets near the DVR and the network router (as recommended I did not plug the units into surge protectors or outlet strips), connected the cable, and bingo the DVR was on line. I can now control programming, recording etc from my laptop rather than having to mess with the remote. Excellent product. I have not tried video on demad through the connection, because our satellite internet connection is too slow for streaming video.
