Impact Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc - Gold/Silver - 32"
This Impact Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc is a versatile lighting tool for in the field and in the studio. It allows you to bring out the shadow detail in your subject, using available or studio lighting. In addition, the colored surface allows you to modify the color of your subject. Your choice of color -- silver or gold -- will be determined by the lighting conditions and your personal preference.
This 32" reversible disc is suitable for 2-person portraits and small-to-medium still-life setups. It folds down to 1/3 its open size and comes with a storage sleeve. We suggest the purchase of a pivoting arm and stand to hold the disc where needed -- especially if you are working without an assistant.
- Gold creates a warm, summery feel that works great with skin tones near sunrise or sunset.
- Silver produces a neutral-colored highlight that works beautifully as a fill light source for both product shots and indoor/outdoor portraits.

I have used this as a backdrop, believe it or not! I have my model hold it behind her head and it gives a wonderful textured background. (The silver side works best) I love how this brings out the warm tones in faces. One caveat - I still can't figure out how to fold it up right!

Working in a studio environment you get to see a wide range of products from very expensive to dirt cheap. This one leans a little toward the ladder but only in price. A must have for any type of out door shooting, be it photography or video. I have found that this is invaluable while shooting in the forest or any location you don't have access to outlets.

I found this to be the perfect size for what I need. I had read another review that someone had difficulty folding this but I did not find it to be a problem. It collapses and folds nicely and I really like that it came with a carring case. I've expermented with the two sides and I can see where it is going to be most helpful.

This reflector is great. The frame is very sturdy and it compacts to almost nothing, so it is no problem carrying it around. I've only used the gold side so far, but it produces a lovely warm glow on faces and even flowers in the shade. The 32" is the perfect size for me. It was a bit complicated the first time I tried to fold it back up, but after I figured it out, it has not been difficult at all.

The reflector is exactly what I wanted and was advertised properly. The only pitfall is the carrying case that came with it is pretty flimsy and has already started to unravel a little, but the reflector so far has been very good. A little hard to collapse, but not to big of an issue.
