Impact Collapsible Oval Reflector Disc - Gold/Silver - 41x74"
This Impact Collapsible Oval Reflector Disc (41 x 74") is a versatile lighting tool for in the field and in the studio. It allows you to bring out the shadow detail in your subject, using available or studio lighting. In addition, the colored surface allows you to modify the color of your subject. Your choice of color --silver or gold -- will be determined by the lighting conditions and your personal preference.
This oval 41 x 74" disc is suitable for a full length portrait and a large size still-life setup. It folds down to 1/3 its open size and comes with a storage sleeve. We suggest the purchase of a pivoting arm and stand to hold the disc where needed -- especially if you are working without an assistant.
- Gold creates a warm, summery feel that works great with skin tones near sunrise or sunset.
- Silver produces a neutral-colored highlight that works beautifully as a fill light source for both product shots and indoor/outdoor portraits.

I used this reflector at a recent wedding I shot, which only made me want a stand to hold it...Thank goodness for my husband! The only downfall to this is it's size makes it hard to fold back down.

This is a great product. I could not believe how big this thing was but it is perfect for a strobist such as myself. If you have a group or a single model and don't want to lug around the lights, power packs, cords, etc...GET THIS!
I use the gold side for warmer tones and the silver for cooler subjects. I found putting this on a light stand with clips works well , but for a windy location you may want to bring along an extra pair of hands to hold it for you. Easy to fold and carry and includes it's own pouch for easy storage. Throw it in the car and you are ready to roll.

The gold side casts a beautiful light on the subject. Big enough for a group. Took a little practice but I can control it and use my camera at the same time if it is not windy. It folds right up (with some practice) and goes back in the bag. Seems pretty durable. I will get a stand and then it will be perfect.

This reflector is nice and big. I find it perfect for my indoor studio shoots, especially for photographing groups. I haven't used it for a location shoot yet and it might be a little too big to use outdoors unless you have two assistants.
It does take a little practice to get it folded up, but once you do it is pretty compact considering the size.
