      This is made of plastic. It is better if it is make of metal as DP series camera are made of metal. It will be nice if it comes with a cap.

            This combo is made of plastic, but seems durable. It snaps on to the lens barrel and clicks securely. The only filter I use is the AML-1 closeup, and it fits well. This is my first experience with better quality digital cameras and accessories as I come from old school film rigs, so I am used to all metal. Overall though, I think it works well, is very light weight, and should last as long as the DP1s.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
