The Epson ELPMBPJF Universal Projector Ceiling Mount combines unsurpassed durability and versatility, with the ability to position your projector virtually anywhere. Designed and built with both professional visual presentation pundits and home theater enthusiasts in mind, this mount offers exceptional design and strength in a simple form factor.
It features steel construction on its mounting legs, base plate, and base disk assembly, couples to standard 1.5" NPT steel pipe, and offers the ability to conceal cable connections through the extension pipe or column. This mount enables projector-to-screen registration with 360° rotation, ±15° roll, ±15° pitch/tilt; and fine-tuning capabilities. Its universal adapter plate supports virtually any projector up to 50 lbs (22.6kg), and it's compatible with Epson's EX90, PowerLite 1700c, 1705c, and 1710c Multimedia projectors.

I needed a very low profile (close to the ceiling) mount for an Epson 8350 and this worked perfectly. Actual distance from the mounting lugs on the projector to the ceiling is about 4 1/2" with no extension, just right for my application. Was a little apprehensive having read a review about the main connection being made of plastic, but in practice it doesn't seem to be an issue. The plastic connector seems designed to hold the weight—is plenty hefty and uses brass threaded inserts for the screws. I'm not worried. May even help damp vibration from the ceiling to the projector, for all I know? Assembles easily with clear, illustrated directions, and, given the variety of mounting screws included, must accommodate a wide variety of projectors. They seem to have but some thought into this mount. I'd buy it again.

Versatile and easy to mount and setup. Not the best looking when visible but does the job. Mounting adapter from ceiling mount to projector uses plastic interlocking design which allows the project to flex and move when touched which may not be good in certain situations.

I just bought an Epson 8350 projector for my home entertainment system, and installed it with this mount. It was easy to install and very easy to adjust the projector's position. The gimbal fitting allowed me to pivot the projector in any direction.
