K-Tek K-Mount Microphone Shock Mount Suspension System
The K-Tek K-Mount Suspension System is a rugged and affordable shockmount for most shotgun, stereo and other cylindrical microphones. The shockmount features K-Tek's patented 4-point polymer suspension bands that stretch to fit most diameter sizes. The polymer bands are housed in a rugged, lightweight aluminum frame with a standard 3/8"-16 thread adapter for mounting onto microphone stands. A shoe-mount adapter is available for camera mounting.

Bought the KTek Shockmount with my KTek shotgun, and mounting the mic is a difficulty..I often leave it mounted when not in use so I don't have to go through the effort for each setup.

I bought this product after reading a review online and was very hopeful it would be a great addition to my equipment list. When I got the product I was pleased to see how well made and solid it was. I've bent or broken several other mounts over the last 10 years. It fit great on my boom pole and looked to be the perfect product for my hard running company however when I loaded my Sennheiser MKH-416 in the mount it was considerably too loose. I'm not sure if the mount has alternate banding to mount smaller diameter mics but I was a bit disappointed there was not any option or mic fit guide to let me know this before I ordered it. As far as the product itself I believe its one of the best mounts I've seen in a long time.
