I used sennheiser G3's as well as these sony's, and really couldnt tell the difference. These sound great and have good range.

perfect buy for the price range, even when compared to packages $100-200 more expensive. they work great and look very professional. The all metal body is much nicer than the sennheiser's plastic with their flip lid cover. the quality is just as impressive with an easy to use interface.

Make sure you get the model that has an easy frequency interface - so as to not get confused when switching between different frequencies.

I was torn between these and the Senneheisers. I went for the these because they were cheaper. Largely the same quality I would argue as the Senneheisers, with a few minor features missing. Larger, and the mic pack can be turned off by the wearer while the Senneheisers can't, but for my uses and budget I got the quality and reliability I needed. Good range also.

I mostly do commercial work, docs and now have a pilot in production. For years our subjects were tethered to a Sony ECM 44B. Always loved the sound and ease of use. But after speaking with a B&H rep and reading everything I could find I settled on the UWP-V1. I am very pleased with how easy it is to set up and the superb audio quality. The thing is rock-solid too! Compared to other systems at this level, it's a bargain too!

I fiannly got the chance to use this new wireless mic system I bought for shooting an HD video the other day and I was amazed. Great Sound no drop out or anuy other issues. I was concerned at first that the volume might be to loud but it turned out it was ok.

We use this product in classrooms and in field recording. The metal case gives us a rugged mic set to work with, and the durability of this mic set has been excellent.

Clarity of the signal and the audio quality are consistently good, and the signal has been consistently strong regardless of minor physical obstacles in the area of use.

It's easy to change channels if there's any interference, and it's also easy to attenuate the signal when needed, which allows connecting the receiver to any number of different recording devices.

I have yet to find any shortcomings of this mic set - we now have three of them, and in almost two years none of them have missed a beat.

I have one set of each frequency and these are my workhorses. Nice, rich sound with little drain on the batteries. Others in the industry longer than I have been impressed with the sound quality as well.

Wedding videography - indoors and outdoors. I have owned several cheaper wireless mic sysems and have spent many hours trying to hide hiss, recover audio dropout, and the unreliability of those was very stressful. I finally broke down and chose to buy this system after researching all that are out there. This system works GREAT! I have used it for an outdoor and indoor wedding now and am very pleased with the quality and reliability!!! A must have for weddings!

This would be 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper. I have an EX1 and had had low recording volume with several different wired mics so went here in desperation. Very pleased. With all dials in default position I had perfect recording levels. Also good all around pick up and only moderate noise.

Only negative is lav is very small and light weight.

I use this for recording audio for video shoots for corporate videos, it works great and I never have any issues. I have used many Sony wireless mics and love how easy they are to use and their reliability at a good price.
