Perfect replacement for a stripped out or damaged pan handle. Fit onto my 501 tripod heads perfectly.
Just remember that it is made out of aluminum, so it's susceptible to being ground down and stripped out if you don't lock it in tight.

Ordered a second handle for my 501HDV head. This unit fits the original 501 head. Totally different animal. Returned and placed order for correct handle. Guess I didn't read enough.
