Manfrotto 117B Universal Video Tripod Legs
The Manfrotto 117B are universal video tripod legs. This aluminum tripod offers a geared column, rubber feet with retractable spikes and a telescoping mid-level spreader.
- Legs are furnished with convertible cushion/spiked tips for secure locking into a Dolly or Spreader.

These legs are a serious heavy duty set of sticks. The diameter of the legs and fact that there are only two sections combined with the spreader make it very stable. It takes a bit longer to set up than my 3021, and is much larger and heavier. But that extra weight helps when you're outside dealing with wind.

With the leveler and fluid mounts I attached to this tripod, it's perfect for use with the Sony HD 11 camcorder. Smooth action, steady. And not too heavy to tote around.
