Not the fastest card, but for [$] you can't beat it.

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional 133x CompactFlash Card:
I have been using these cards for a few months in a Nikon D100. They record quickly, and shooting raw, they hold a few hundred shots. The read time is also very good on a Mac Pro through the USB2 port (have not tried firewire, yet).
I don't shoot sports or other high-fps subjects, so can't comment on limitations of the camera buffer versus the card write speed, but I don't have to wait for the card to finish when shooting casually with moderate to low noise reduction.
There are faster cards, which would be more suitable for sports and similar activities, but the 133x is plenty fast for everything I've shot.

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional 133x CompactFlash Card:
I just recently went on a hiking trip with my Nikon D300 and am very pleased with the performance of these cards. My D300 takes 12 megapixel photos and I was unable to fill up one card on the 3 day trip. I shoot RAW as well. The speed is also nice. I was able to bracket 9 images at a time with no lag. Over all I am very pleased.

This 8GB card works just as well as my previous 2GB card except it can hold so many more pictures close to 2000 on my 8.1 mp camera. Very fast and efficient. I am pleased with my purchase, and would purhcase again from Lexar.

I use this card in my Canon 40D mostly for wildlife photography. The card writes very fast(I shoot raw)and has never let me down. I've been using Lexar cards since 2003 when I went digital.
I would highly recomend them.

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional 133x CompactFlash Card:
I use the card in Canon EOS cameras. I typically wouldn't use such a large card, preferring instead to use several smaller cards so that the failure of one would not cost me all my pictures from the shoot but I've been totally satisfied with the card. It's fast and that means I can shoot more frames per minute.

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional 133x CompactFlash Card:
I bought this card for my Nikon D300 and it works perfectly. It is plenty fast for shooting sports or other action shots and at the price you can't go wrong. I am a semi-professional photographer and have used many cards. This one has turned out to work just as well as it's more expensive comparisons.

Never have I had a problem with Lexar cards. I don't recommend doing this, but they have gone though the washing machine a few times and still work flawlessly. These high capacity cards are great for long shoot days, say like a wedding or an event.

I was fortunate enough to get 3 of these cards for [$] and an $80 rebate each. This means that I got 3 of these cards for [$]. That is the best deal I have gotten in a long time...About the quality of the product... These are superb cards! I use them in my Canon EOD 20D & 30D and find them to perform very well... These are performing up to par with the Sandisk Extreme II 4GB cards that I was using previously. I could couldn't be happier with this product!

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional 133x CompactFlash Card:
I purchased three 8 GB cards prior to covering the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial Dedication. I knew I would be shooting almost constantly from the media show time at 5:30 a.m. until the end of the daytime events at about 4:00 p.m. I was able to continue shooting without having to be concerned about a card running out just at the moment a great shot was in my viewfinder.

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional 133x CompactFlash Card:
Best price around, be cautioned, if you are shooting rapidly your buffer will fill up pretty quick at 133X, if you need the speed it's a safer bet to step up to the 333X
