The actual screen is very functional at keeping ogling eyes off your screen, when it is attached to your screen. This product, however, does not stay on the laptop screen at all! The small plastic pieces, that adhere to the screen to attach the privacy filter, are completely useless. The adhesive seems to dislodge from the heat of my computer and it all falls apart. I think it would make a lot more sense to use gravity and have some kind of thin hook that attaches over the top of the screen. I am going to have to invent something to fix my privacy screen in place, because what I have out of the box is useless.

I bought this product to cut glare from my laptop screen, not for the privacy filter. It works for both uses and I'm liking the privacy as a plus. It is very expensive for what it appears to be but there aren't many options on the market and it does work.

I have had this product on my previous computer and couldn't go without when I purchased my new MacBook. It does a great job keeping others away from the screen while in public areas.
The only reason I only rated it with 4 stars is that it slightly subdues the screen.
