The Bushnell 8x43 Elite binocular has been created to deliver great optical performance for birders, hunters and others. Committed to high standards, Bushnell continues to meet the high expectations of the most avid enthusiasts. This binocular features the Bushnell revolutionary XRT technology. Using 60 anti-reflective layers of coatings on each prism, this innovative improvement increases light transmission by 99.73%, which is extremely efficient for low light conditions.
The 8x43 Elite binocular is flat-field, distortion free and relatively close focusing. Its BaK4 prisms are specially PC-3 phase coated to produce sharp edge-to-edge images. The binocular is bright, steady, and performs extremely well during dawn and dusk. It has a generous 5.4mm exit pupil diameter sufficient to accommodate all viewers including eyeglass wearers. Waterproof, nitrogen purged, and shock resistant, this binocular is fully submersible. It is built to withstand water pressure up to 15 feet and can sustain extreme abuse.
