Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS Digital Camera:
I bought this camera primarily for quick wildlife photos that I see while driving in the remote areas of nothern Minnesota. For that use this camera has been exceptional. For a compact point and shoot camera it really fits the bill. It's other use is for family snapshots, the picture quality and ease of use is more than adequate for my needs. I've only had the camera a few weeks so still have much to learn about using other features. Downfall, it didn't come with a rechargeable battery and I should have ordered one when I bought the camera. The battery that came with the camera only lasted 2 weeks and had to be tossed.

Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS Digital Camera:
Just came back from an Alaska cruise which was the reason for the camera purchase.
I can not say enough good thinks about the camera. It worked great. The sport setting produced amazing pictures of our whale watching trip. I am not a shutter bug or a techy kind of guy, but this camera is very easy to use. The zoom feature is fantastic.

I use this camera for inside pictures and outside nature shots. The pictures are so clear and precise they look like they can go in a magazine. The camera is not bulky or heavy and east to carry.

Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS Digital Camera:
I use this camera to take personal pictures. I had a ten year old easy share that I loved but wanted to upgrade. I was concerned that it would not be as easy to use as the other one, but I had no problem figuring it out. I used it to take pictures at my daughter's 13th birthday party which was at a hibachi style restaurant - dimmly lit. All of the pictures turned out wonderfully from the posed group pictures to the action pictures of the hibachi chef working his magic on the grill. I am very pleased with my purchase!!!

Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS Digital Camera:
My last Kodak (Z650) had a cable for audio & video (AV-8) connection. But the Z1012 IS doesn´t have this cable, that I consider very useful, for watching photos e videos on TV.

Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS Digital Camera:
A few years ago, I owned a high end Sony SLR Camera which cost me well over a Thousand Dollars which did not take as good a picture as the New Kodak Z1012-IS does. In the automatic mode, this camera takes clean, crisp sharp images both indoors and out and weather your taking close or distance shots. I took a photo of the Golden Gate Bridge in auto mode from over three miles away and the images were absolutely stunning with very good detail. I also filmed fireworks on the 4th and the movie also came out excellent. I have shown some photos that I had taken with this camera to a professional photographer friend of mind and his response was very positive. In fact, he was so impressed with the quality of my Images he now is considering the purchase of one of these cameras for his studio. In short, I highly recommend this camera, weather you are a hobbyist or professional photographer.
