Manfrotto 120 Converter Plate for 1/4-20 Socket Heads
The Manfrotto 120 Converter Plate allows Bogen/Manfrotto tripods, or any tripod legset with a 3/8"-16 male thread, to be used with tripod heads which have a 1/4-20" threaded female socket.
Replaces old part number 3054.

I needed a spacer plate to elevate my Hog Saddle tripod mount. I use a Manfrotto video tripod and the head was a little too wide for the Hog Saddle's knob to fully rotate. The plate solved the problem. My tripod uses a 1/4-20 mounting screw so I also bought a 3/8" to 1/4" reducer adapter. Great product!

I own 5 of these, and I use them to adapt naked tripod bases and multi-mount bars to 1/4" accessories, including cameras. Their wide base makes them a totally steady base for your 1/4" accessory, unlike the thin adapters. The wide base is especially important for heavier items such as cameras with long lenses and shoe-mounted flash units. They are indestructible. Totally "Manfrotto".

I was disappointed to learn that so many tripods come with the 3/8" bolt when both my video camera and my Canon EOS 50D have the 1/4" receptacle. This is the perfect fix for a stupid problem.
